07 — In conversation

What 🇦🇨 means from a girl or a guy

Same emoji, different intent depending on who sent it and what came before.

From a girl

A girl sending 🇦🇨 is almost never talking about an actual trip — it’s usually a joke about how obscure the flag is, or part of a flag-guessing game with friends. If it’s genuine, it might reference a travel bucket list or a random fact she just learned.

From a guy

A guy sending 🇦🇨 is doing much the same — flexing trivia knowledge, teasing friends in a flag quiz, or dropping it as a random “did you know this exists” fact. It’s rarely a serious travel reference given how remote the island actually is.

How to reply

If someone sends you 🇦🇨, you could reply with: “wait where even is that,” “flex the trivia knowledge,” or “never heard of it lol.”
