Using the site

WebEmoji is provided as is, free to use, with no account required. We try to keep meanings and data accurate but make no warranty that everything is correct or current.

Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other people, and do not republish it wholesale as your own.

Emoji artwork and copyright

The emoji characters themselves are part of the Unicode Standard and are not owned by anyone. The artwork is a different matter: Apple, Google, Twitter/X and Facebook each own their designs.

Downloads here are offered for personal use. For commercial use, check the licence of the vendor whose artwork you are taking. OpenMoji is CC BY-SA 4.0 and is the safest permissive option.
