What 🍄‍🟫 means from a girl or a guy

Same emoji, different intent depending on who sent it and what came before.

From a girl
A girl sending 🍄‍🟫 is often into the cozy, cottagecore side of it — forest walks, foraging, earthy fall vibes, or a mushroom-themed outfit or room. It’s a soft, nature-loving emoji more than anything edgy or literal about cooking.
From a guy
A guy sending 🍄‍🟫 leans more literal or jokey — talking about cooking, a pizza order, or dropping a wink-wink reference to psychedelics with friends. It’s used less for aesthetics, more as a casual nod to food or a “trippy” inside joke.
How to reply
If someone sends you 🍄‍🟫, you could reply with: “so good in pasta,” “forest core vibes,” or “say less, I get it 👀.”

What 🍄‍🟫 means in other countries

Mostly a literal food or nature emoji, but in some circles it doubles as a wink toward mushrooms as a psychedelic, not a meal.

Changes meaning depending on where you are
cooking or foraging posts

tags the literal ingredient in a recipe, or a wild-mushroom find on a hike

festival, wellness, or drug-culture chat

can read as a nod to psilocybin rather than anything on a plate

Before you send it: Fine in a recipe or nature context; in party or wellness chat it may be read as more than food.
